中卒の元マンション建設作業員です。大手ゼネコンのS建設の下うけの仕事をやっていて、巨大マンション建設現場を見て感げきしました。僕も、そのうちあんなマンションが買えればいいなと思い、英語の勉強を始めることにしました。ここの皆さんは、マンションの拳闘者や購入者の皆さんと思いますが、英語の勉強するためのアドバイスをください。
とりあえず自分でできることは自分でしなくっちゃと思い、僕、早速毎日一箱吸っていたタバコを1本減らし、一日19本で我慢しています。これで年間365本も減らせます。年間1万円くらいも節約できるのマンションはすぐ買えそうです。
やっぱ、アメリカとかに旅行するのが一番でしょうか？それとも六本木あたりの外人バーで修行した方が早いでしょうかね？

覚え方ですが、私の場合は、見て、書いて、声に出して読んで覚えます。
これは人によって異なるのでどうか主さんにピッタリの覚え方が見つかりますように。

留学しても日々勉強しなければ英語は身につきません。アメリカに住む国際結婚カップルを見ていても、何年一緒に居ても英語が苦手という日本人の奥さんはたくさんいます。逆に日本に居てもしっかり勉強すれば英語は話せるようになります。
まず、単語・熟語を始めます。お手持ちの単語帳・熟語帳があると思います。（お好きなものに買い替えてもよいです。）で、おそらく単語帳って一冊の中で「基本800、標準700、難単語600」みたいな区分けがあったりします。そのうち800、できれば標準の半分辺り。熟語も同様。の単語を先ずは暗記してください。意味が複数ある単語も一つ目の意味だけで結構です。覚えてください。

単語だけを覚えることはあまり意味がありません。単語はパーツにすぎないので、文章として身に付けないと使えません。一番肝心なのは、目的や目標だと思います。それがないと習得するための動機付けが難しいです。
